The Record Industry is DEAD. It is a fact, let it go.

The Music Business on the other hand.... has NEVER been better.

Yes, these are bold words coming from a venture that is basically a record label but it is true.


We are Outer City, a Music Label established in Victoria, Vancouver Island.

We came into existence at and witnessed the tail end of the Record Industry Era.

Our goal is to assist the artist in their development and provide guidance to navigate around the new industry.

Our main weapons are education, innovation & independence.


We adopted the ‘Music Label’ moniker to describe our business

and ‘Outer City’ to represent where the noise is coming from.

It’s The Outside, The Underground, The Outlaws, The Rebels, The Gypsies, Freaks & Geeks and Punks.
